Beautiful you, inside – out naturally!

It’s hard to price beauty because beauty is something intrinsic, something which comes from within.  What you apply to the skin, 60% of it gets absorbed in the skin. Makeup, moisturisers, creams, lotions, unless they are organic contain harmful toxins and chemicals which causes various diseases like cancer, infertility, skin allergies, birth defects, learning disability, and even clog skin pores etc. These cosmetics and skin care products come with lots of chemicals like fragrance aka parfum, parabens, sodium laureth sulphate, sodium lauryl sulphate, DEA(Diethanolamine), MEA(Monoethanolamine), TEA(Triethanolamine), PEG(Polyethylene) and other petrochemicals.  One should try to avoid such harmful toxins to get absorbed in our skin. But this is possible only if we refrain ourselves from oodles of cosmetics and skin care products available on the shelves in the market which is practically almost impossible now a days. That’s when our age old granny’s recipes come to the rescue!

1

Honey – It has great antibacterial properties which promotes new cell growth and slows down the process of ageing. It also acts as a moisturizer for dry skin because it locks all the moisture in the skin.

2

Yogurt – Lactic acid in the yogurt will soften and tighten the skin. It also contains zinc which helps to reduce the blemishes. It also has anti fungal and anti bacterial properties to cleanse the face. Last but not the least, it helps soothe sunburns. Use it daily as a substitute for face wash and notice the gradual change in your skin tone when used regularly.

3

Tomatoes – They are a good source of calcium, potassium and manganese. They help treat sun burns, reduce oiliness, increases skin fairness, balances ph, tightens skin pores, cures acne and reduces skin irritation.

4

Turmeric– Turmeric is a natural skin healer. It brightens the skin, reduces inflammation and skin rashes, heals acne, even out wrinkles and gives the skin a healthy glow.

5

Almonds – They act as a great exfoliator for the skin. Grind the almonds into granules (make sure you don’t powder them) and mix it with rose water or cream if the skin is dry. Exfoliation makes the skin look even and aid in removing the dirt from deep within the pores which when not treated properly causes blackheads and eventually acnes.

6

Mix them all together in equal quantities or apply them all alone, in either of the case you are bound to look gorgeous with your natural look. Apply it in circular motion on the face and neck. Keep it on for 4-5 minutes and wash it off. A splash of cool water after applying the things to close the pores will complete the look.

Go Green and stay away from artificial and synthetics as much as possible. After all, beauty is being the best possible version of yourself on the inside and out!

You are ready to glow!
